NOTICE TO ALL TENANTS PREPARING FOR LEASE END MOVE OUT: We are providing the following list as a reminder of what you need to do to prepare for move out. All Campus Realty leases terminate at 12:00 noon on the last day of the lease. Someone from Campus Realty will be stopping by your property that day to verify that the property has been vacated and if any services need to be started. If you are not totally moved out by 12:00 noon, you will be charged double rent. The Termination Date can be found on page 1, paragraph 2 of your lease. Keys must be turned in to Campus Realty by 12:00 noon of the Termination Date. Forwarding addresses must be provided by the Termination Date or prior, if available. This is the address where the security deposits will be forwarded. Proof must be provided that professional cleaning, carpet cleaning where applicable, and pest control services have been done prior to move out. So, please let us know when you have professional cleaners and/or carpet cleaners scheduled to come in. This will avoid a duplication of services and a charge coming off of your security deposit for that service. Security deposits shall be mailed within Fifteen (15) days to the forwarding addresses of the tenants, or have written notice sent within Thirty (30) days by certified mail of the landlord’s intention to impose a claim against the deposit. Full information regarding the security deposit can be found on page 3, paragraph 6 of the lease. Any 7 Day Notices of fees due or unpaid late fees need to be paid before the termination date of the lease. If the fees are not received by the termination date, they will be taken out of the security deposit. Thank you for your cooperation in these matters.
